The clock on the wall reads 7:30pm. Alvaro, a 29 year old scruffy Spaniard, packs a small backpack: 12 t-shirts, 5 trousers, 7 changes of underwear, extra socks, a satellite phone, 2 camera bodies, 2 lenses, a laptop and $4000 worth of currency accepted by Sudanese Rebels. On the street he is mistaken for a college student. He's not. He's one of the worlds leading war photographers, and he's traveling to the heart of the worst genocide on the planet, Darfur.

WAR PHOTOGRAPHERS will document the work of Alvaro, and 2 of his peers Gary and Peter, as they navigate between the worlds of high profile media like Time, Newsweek, Vanity Fair, etc., and the frontlines of today's most horrific wars - Iraq, Afganistan, Darfur, Uganda, Chad, etc.

Shot with a single Camera, no scripted scenarios, and no assurances of safety, WAR PHOTOGRAPHERS will focus on these men's struggle to bridge the dichotomous environments of war and media, while maintaining their lives and psychological well-being, in the hopes of "making a shot" that will inform and perhaps change the world.
